The Pontiac Township High School jazz ensemble is an extra-curricular ensemble that meets weekly when marching band season is completed. The jazz ensemble is comprised of students that play saxophone, trombone, trumpet, piano, bass guitar, and drums. Students perform diverse repertoire that include swing, latin, funk, blues, and rock. Occasionally, the jazz ensemble travels to local festivals to learn from famous jazz musicians and educators. They will perform on each band concert throughout the year.
